Hooray! We spent our first weekend as owners instead of visitors. As you can see we need an new name for the place because to us it is exceedingly grand.

Mary Jane and I were busy about the place doing all kinds of things. I got the lawn tractor ready, mowed some weeds, planted two cherry trees, worked on the sprinkler system, and fixed a few things. Mary Jane unloaded the truck and trailer, sorted out the bag full of keys we got, took pictures and helped with everything
We didn't want to leave.

Here are some more pictures. Now go to the top!

  1. Congratulations! Now all you need are some chickens, goats, sheep, ducks, geese, pigs, cows, and a spider named Charlotte to complete the farm!

  2. Grandma Chaney looks so cute! Oh ya, and the farm was pretty nice too ;)
As for the name it DEFINITELY needs a new one. I will start brainstorming.
    Love you!
